The purpose of this site is to provide a public translation memory sharing service for translators who translate between Welsh and English.

Public bodies and others who wish to provide translation memories and openly share them can upload them to this site, and translators from other bodies, organizations and companies can download those translation memories and use them in their own translation environment.

In doing so we ask you to respect the copyright, disclaimers, and terms and conditions attached to the various translation memories submitted to the system. This includes making sure you have the permission of your organization before uploading memories, and filling in the metadata fields correctly, so that the information needed for all translation memory can be kept together.

To get started, decide whether you want to upload translation memory files to the system, or whether you want to download translation memories for use in your own translation memory system. To upload translation memories, go to the Upload section. To download translation memories, go to the Download section.

This website will grow and develop over time, and the data presented to it will also be used to improve Welsh Machine Translation, and other computer language resources for Welsh.
